Meet Our Team at Wisconsin Wellness
Executive Team
Brynn Systsma – Clinical Director
Psy.D., LP
Dr. Brynn Sytsma serves as our licensed Pediatric Neuropsychologist and Clinical Director. She provides comprehensive psychological and neuropsychological evaluations for children and adolescents from early childhood through high school.
She specializes in the assessment of neurodevelopmental conditions, including Autism Spectrum Disorder (ADOS-2 certified), ADHD, developmental disabilities, and learning disorders. Dr. Sytsma also evaluates individuals who present with emotional or behavioral concerns, trauma-related conditions, FASD, and medical or neurologically based concerns.
Her evaluations are individualized and designed to provide clear diagnostic answers with practical, real-world recommendations. She works closely with families, schools, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure findings translate into meaningful support across settings.
Dr. Sytsma approaches her clinical work as both a diagnostician and an advocate. She is committed to helping families leave the evaluation process with insight and concrete next steps so they can confidently advocate for and support their child. Her style is strength-based and neurodiversity-affirming, grounded in the belief that understanding a child’s diagnosis should reduce confusion, not add to it.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Sytsma provides supervision to clinicians, supporting high standards of care and ethical practice. As Clinical Director, she works to improve clinic operations.
Dr. Sytsma also incorporates animal-assisted therapy into her work alongside her certified therapy dog, Leo. Outside of work, Leo and Dr. Sytsma enjoy exploring local trails, visiting community events, and spending time with family.

I am a Rhodesian Ridgeback born in 2023. I love treats, kids, boat rides, napping in the sun, and long walks. I strongly dislike grass, getting wet, and the betrayal of the vacuum cleaner.
